As a competitive high school and Division I collegiate athlete I grew up in a world of exercise, gyms, and quality personal trainers. I had an innate discipline to push my own body to its limit and became fascinated with the physiological response to exercise and injury. This led me to earn my Bachelors of Science degree in Athletic Training from Illinois State University.
During this time, I gained a complex understanding of the human body and the science behind its muscular function, limitation and rehabilitation.
